Our reliable thermal imaging cameras can detect the source of water leaks by exploring differences in surface temperatures. The difference in temperatures helps the Silverline plumbing team to locate the exact source of the leak and the thermal imaging camera can even identify water leaks from buried pipes.

• Thermal imaging – maps hot and cold as well as central heating pipes under floors and in walls.
• Endoscopic/borescope camera – used in concealed and small spaces.

How the leak detection process works
As soon as a water leak has been detected, the Silverline plumbing team will develop a leak damage restoration programme so that we can return your property back to its pre-incident condition with minimal disruption to you. Our reliable fully qualified plumbers will support you every step of the way.

In most cases the cost of a leak detection is covered under building insurance if there is ‘trace and access’ or ‘track and trace’ on the policy. We provide a detailed written report with photos within 48 hours of our visit to assist with an insurance claim.
